I probably lean the other way but it’s impossible to argue.

good god there is nothing more expensive than aircooled Porsche power. Even Ferrari engines are cheaper to build power with.
Also for that price I’d rather have a new 911 GT3 R. Or two cup cars.

IDK, maybe don’t drive like a douche and you wouldn’t get so many tickets?

Thats a spicy meatball.
Too stratospheric for me. Give me a plain 993, and the cash instead.

I remember sticking one of these into Forza. I’m sad it never came out in FM7, just in Horizon.

After Matt’s claim of it being a $250k engine I called BS and I did some digging. I was actually pleasantly surprised. The closest figure I’ve found so far is an Ed Pink 3.8 circa 2016 at $35,900. A 4.0 is quite a bit more involved, but not $215,000 more involved. Half of the value of that car is NOT in the engine.
I actually thought $35k was reasonable considering we can hardly push a 496 Big Block Olds out the door for $15,000 and the majority of the profit is actually from the parts sales than went into the engine. You decide on a billet crank with all the tricks, a rare set of heads (non Edelbrock or worked OEM), crank trigger ignition, EFI, ect. and you can easily get upwards of $30,000. You’d make double what the Porsche makes, but we’re talking Oldsmobiles here.

That green. My Bright Green Metallic Z28 needs a repaint and I’d love to mimic whatever hue is on that Porsche.

The Ed Pink price is very interesting since he is one of the known power builders. That seems much more reasonable
